Keep Me Still Blog Tour

BOOK SUMMARY:

Layla Flaherty had the perfect life, or close to it. Until a stranger gunned her parents down right in front of her, leaving her with seizure inducing PTSD. After years of trying to pass as normal and failing miserably, she resigns herself to being invisible. But new to town Landen O’Brien sees her, and he likes what he sees. Much to Layla’s surprise, he doesn’t freak out when she has a seizure in front of him. He does the exact opposite, calming her until the tremors subside. But Landen has secrets of his own. Secrets that both bind them together and tear them apart.

Scarred by loss, Layla leaves her hometown of Hope Springs, Georgia, hoping to put her painful past behind her and start over in college in California. When she runs into Landen at freshmen orientation, she has a choice to make. Reinforce those steel walls she's built up around herself or give the only boy who can keep her still a second chance.

Landen’s more than ready to tear down those walls but this time when they come crashing down, they might bury her.

Dee's Review
Have you ever gotten through a book, about half way, and thought "shit, this is going to make me cry. And when it does, it's going to be ugly". No? Well, that's what went through my head reading this. This book isn't just a story line, it's a journey.  A journey through a whole relationship. A fate induced, love filled, rough ridden, anger bound real relationship. But it is a relationship that no matter what they face, and they face more shit that you will believe, Love never dies. Love never fades. If anything, it gets stronger. And it is their love that gets them through everything. They may think they know better, that walking away is the better option. Logan, Layla, Love always wins. Love is strength. With a love like what these two have, they are stronger together than they could ever be apart. So read this, and believe me when I tell you, you will cry. You will also be shocked, amazed, worried, mad, sad, infuriated, hopeful, excited, and in the end.. complete. Their story is just that... Complete. These two face so much. I don't just mean the typical jealousy crap, or he became famous and cheated stuff. No.. I mean they face real life, that happened to me situations. Situations that you won't know how to react to, because you can't imagine yourself in their shoes. But you do.. imagine yourself in their shoes, because that is how Caisey writes. She sucks you in. She makes you FEEL the story, not just read it. And when you read it, you love it. You don't just love Landen and Layla, you love ALL of the characters. Dare I say, you may even like The Colonel by the end... okay, maybe tolerate him is a better word. I will say this, at the end, I think Hope teaches us all a lesson, not just Landon. I don't want you to think this is just a lovey dovey romance, it's not. It's hot, and believe me, I don't think I can think about a milkshake in a G rated perspective again. But the emotional aspect of this stuck out more to me. The journey they take, the evolution they go through, both together and individually, is what meant more to me reading this than what Landon can do with his mouth, hands, tongue, etc. Though Landon is quite a striker... on the field, of course. I give this 4.5 hearts. It truly is beautiful.
