Shannon's Review:
Whiskey Lullaby is a fabulous
love story. It really fits the song
perfectly. (If you don’t know the song look
it up and listen to
it. It’s by Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss) Knowing this
song
and reading this book it about broke me.
Julie is a woman with a big
heart and full of love. Although
she seems to be gaureded with it. She has
walls around her
but I don’t blame her. Heartbroken isn’t even a word to
describe how I would feel. So when she sets off and meets
Dean you feel
instantly better. But, because there is always a
but, Dean is full of anger and
secrets.
Jase I will agree totally
messed up and I mean BIG time
messed up. Atlhough getting to know him my heart
broke for
him too. Yea I am a softy but come on he is hot and he
learns. I am
not saying what he does or did shouldn’t go unnoticed. He really drowns himself
in mysery over loosing her. Why can’t you just keep it in your pants Jase???
WHY???
And seriously her best
friend?? I mean if you can’t trust your
best friend, then who can you trust. I
did not like her one bit. What was he thinking because really I would like to
know. The good think about it is you get into her head a little bit too. But I
would have still beat a bitch best friend or not.
I was getting scared reading this book knowing something bad was coming. I didn't know if I could take it. Ask Sandie and Dee, I was having to message them through it. Yall need to read this so I can discuss with you.
This book is a must read and
needs to be put on your TBR list immediately. It is full of action, love, and
angst. I loved every minute of it. I read it in a day. I couldn’t put it down.
I promise you will enjoy this book as much as I did. I am giving this book 4
hearts. And another good thing the author is bringing two characters out of the
book into their own book. I can’t wait for it.
