This is one those books that you know something is bad is
bound to happen but you can’t stop reading. It has you on the edge of your
seat. There is a big secret that brings these two back together that you can’t
help but love. This is truly a love lost and found book.
Emmy is completely destroyed in the beginning of this book.
She is not the same Emmy from the past. She has a lot of issues she has to work
through. Her secret is a BIG one. Emmy’s attitude and look out on life is
completely different.
How can you not love Luke? I will tell you he is a straight
up asshole in the beginning of this book. I think he has every right to be to
an extent. Luke is a true lover though. But damn if he didn’t get mean in some
parts. And yes Kyle does return. Yep. Don’t like him. Not one bit. There was
one part I wanted to go through my kindle and kill him.
Yes you can tell that from the synopsis that they are
together again but still have so much to overcome. Having old past demons coming
back to light and also new ones that find its way into the present they
struggle. One of those I could have knocked her head off.
I am giving this book 4.5 hearts. I loved the return of both
of these characters and can’t wait to see more emerge. If you like the first to
books then you will love this one too.
4.5/5 Hearts
