LOVED THIS BOOK!
Even know just thinking about the concept I get a literary-boner.
Monroe is married to Colin and to everyone who see's them they think they have the perfect life. Then Oliver walks in with his long hair and sexy self and well to put it lightly...all hell breaks loose.
Monroe finds that her attraction to Oliver is more than she can handle. While Monroe loves Colin her heart beats for Oliver. Okay I get it right about now you're like
"Oh hell nah, if this is a book about cheating and triangles I'm out."
I can assure you it is none of those. Yes I get what you have read above BUT this is not what you think. On the surface you may think you get it but unless you read it you will not truly understand hence the reason for the name of the book and why it fits so perfectly!
The heart can be very fickle and sometimes our pasts make it seem like you don't deserve a happy future and then the universe sends someone into your path that makes you question everything you thought you knew. That is this book, that is Monroe. She thought she was happy and content and needed nothing more until Oliver showed her heart things it never knew it needed much less wanted.
Oliver damn Oliver. What can I say I'm a sucker for a guy with a manbun, glasses and smarts. He is genuine and cares for Monroe in a way that her husband never can or will.
Then we have Seth. I LOVE SETH!!! Like legit love this man. He just made this book for me. He is the epitome of an amazing man who knows how to look at life. He cares for both Colin and Monroe and will do anything to protect them. With each scene that he appeared in my heart melted more and more. Seth is the type of man you would want on your side when shit hits the fan. He just gets it.
What I like about the book is that it deals with an issue that is prevalent. Erin Noelle is not afraid to push the boundaries as an artist. She takes from the world around her and makes her readers open their eyes and understanding to the world around them. With every book she is proving that she knows how to do this with out it being over the top and sappy. She delivers the characters and storyline in a way that makes one fall in love with all them, you know except Effie because she's crazy.
