  1. You're review of Sharon Buchbinder's Obsession is wonderful.

My literary fiction/family saga THE WOODEN CHAIR was published as e-book in May 2013. I would love for you to review it, and give here a short blurb of this story, which starts against the backdrop of the Finno-Russian war in 1943:
As a child, Leini stands ready to do anything to win her mother, Mira’s love. This effort costs her the sight in one eye. She suffers bullying from kids her own age because of her wayward eye. As a teenager, with her Grandpa’s help, she undergoes one more surgery to straighten the eye.

Leini struggles to break free of Mira’s tyranny by leaving her native Helsinki, to study psychology at the Geneva University. A few years later, married, herself about to become a mother, she is determined not to repeat Mira’s behavior with her own children. With the help of a psychiatrist, she labors through the pains of past hurts, healing open wounds, to become a nurturing and loving mother and wife, a successful professional as she grows from victim to victor over adversity. Her triumph over her past is complete when she finds the strength to forgive Mira.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope this novel interests you to review.
    Thanks you,

  5. Hi!

I found your blog on http://www.theindieview.com/ and noticed that you are currently accepting books to review and thought I'd reach out to see if you would be interested in reviewing my novel Tompkin's School (For The Extraordinarily Talented Book 1). I am a new author and this is my very first novel so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Synopsis: Izara Torvik thought her life was over the moment that her father sent her and her twin brother to a boarding school in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma. She soon discovers that the school is not as ordinary as she thought and finds herself thrown into a battle against her inner demons that only have one desire...the desire to kill.

Excerpt: Once my body stopped trembling, I picked myself up. It felt strange, my feet seemed to fall much lighter on the ground than normal. My head also felt a bit fuzzy. I turned and froze as I caught myself in the reflection of a full-length mirror. I glided forward to get a closer look. My eyelids had sunken into my skull and my eyes were red! I reached up to touch my pallid skin only to gawk at my hands. My fingernails had been replaced with dark, black claws.
    “I’m a monster,” I hissed.
My eyes flashed up to meet my reflection once again and soon my clawed hands were the least of my worries. Two black, very large things were moving ever so slightly, blocking the reflection of the rest of the room. I looked over my shoulder to find large, black feathered, wings…

  7. Hello!

I located your blog from The Indie View, and I am requesting a review for my psychological crime thriller BLOOD SACRAMENT:

When a killer hears the voice of the Virgin Mary, Catholic priests are targeted and an innocent Marine Corps veteran is on the run for his life.

Dizzy, a bum with a taste for booze and books, is a college dropout and Marine Corps deserter. He's been running for years from the memory of his cowardice resulting in the death of an innocent Iraqi girl. But when he is seen in a city park standing next to a murdered priest, he must now run from the police and confront the killer in order to clear his name and destroy his personal demons.

And between the converging paths of the killer and the hunted, Detective Lieutenant Patrick McConnell races against time to prevent the next . . .
    BLOOD SACRAMENT.

If this sounds interesting to you, please let me know how you wish to receive it. Personally, I would prefer to send it to you after purchasing it as a gift, but if you would rather another method, I would be happy to accommodate you.

    Thanks in advance!

  8. My website is ronalddwalker.com
The book I wish to have reviewed is in the genre of Vintage erotic romance, but I see it as much more than that description covers. An abused housewife in 1944 gains relief from her abusive husband and finds a life, she had only dreamed of, with a wealthy sexually knowledgeable man. He lovingly teaches her that sex is more than an enjoyment for men. Sarah Barnes helps another abused woman gain freedom from her sadistic husband. Amazon is the most well known source for the inexperienced reader and I wish to have a review done there, BUT Lovers Lies and Lilies is also published on Smashwords. Each has reviews with Amazon having more than Smashwords at https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/424666. The coupon for Smashwords is AK97D It is not case sensitive. I grew up with an abusive father and I based the book on that aspect of my life. I suppose as revenge in the only form available to me. Sexual scenes are moderately prevalent in the story as it shows Sarah's sexual development and experiences.
I have attached the cover and acknowledgement of privilege of use is published in the book beginning.
The page count on Smashwords is 139 with 61,180 words. Part two of Lovers Lies and Lilies is in the process of editing. I hope to have it availabe before the end of November as it is more than half finished

Thank you for considering my work. I do hope you enjoy reading and will do a review

  9. Good morning. I know how hard it is to weed out the good student versus the not so good students. Hehe

I'm a somewhat new author. This series is called, Soul Mate series which is contemporary/romance/fantasy/erotica I need a new genre. I really don''t like using the word (erotica) but at this time, I don't know where else to place it. My books have great meaning, amazing travels and just really intimate, loving sex scenes.

Below you'll find the answers to all your questions, plus some more. lol

    Bio---
C.L. Hunter started writing poetry as a young girl. Her grandparents owned newspapers in Arkansas: the McCrory Leader and the Augusta Advocate. She’d send her poems to them. In return they’d print them in the weekly newspaper and send the clippings back to her. That started her love for writing. Her first novel, Your Soul Was Made for Mine, won Reader's Favorite Silver Award and the Benjamin Franklin Digital Silver Honoree Award.

She attended Arkansas State, studying business, but started a family early having three children. Hunter considers herself a Floridian, having lived in Saint Augustine since the age of seven. She loves the beach and hot, humid weather—the hotter the better. She is an avid gardener, loving every type of flower God created. You’ll find flowers in all her books. She also loves boating and anything that has to do with the water. When she’s not writing, she’s a design consultant for a custom homebuilder in Jacksonville, Florida.

With each new discovery, they go to places, events, and ecstasies they could have never imagined possible.

My second book, My Soul Belongs to You, was released Dec 2016. Contemporary/romance/erotica 228 pages and around 88,000 words
