Gloria's Revenge by Nelle L'Amour Blog Tour

Why hadn't I resisted him? Because he was too strong, too determined, too beautiful. And because I was hopelessly, helplessly head over heels in love. He had made me fall apart and fall for him.
Brought to new heights of sensuality and passion, Gloria Long, the stunning, self-made CEO of Gloria's Secret, the world's largest retailer of lingerie, has succumbed to the seductive spell of sexy, dominating billionaire ad guru, Jaime Zander. But the man whose first name means "I love" in French is a player and may be incapable of love. And involved with someone else.

Back at her Los Angeles headquarters, Gloria faces unexpected deceit, intrigue, and danger and must make a heart-wrenching life-or-death decision that will cost her not only her empire but also the man she loves. Revenge is the only solution. But will she find the strength to confront the demon from her past who harbors the dark secret that can shatter her world?

This steamy and suspenseful conclusion to Gloria’s Secret is intended for mature readers 18+.

Now, on to the really good stuff..

Hi Nelle!! **big hugs** Thank you so much for taking the time to talk with me.

Let’s get started, shall we?

So.. where are you from? I was born in NYC and lived in the area for a long time.

Where, if anywhere would you like to visit? The Taj Mahal in India.

What are somethings that you are dying to do? Travel more. See the world. It's been difficult with kids and the expenses they incur.

Are you an out going person, or more reserved? Something in-between. I'm out going but shy when it comes to self-promoting. The latter is not in my blood.

What kind of things do you do to relax? I drink wine, read, and treat myself to these $25 Thai massages that have popped up all over LA.

Who are some of your favorite authors? Favorite books? I'm well read and love the Bronte sisters, Jane Austen and Hemingway. I love contemporary thrillers-- Dan Brown, James Pattteson and Daniel Silva. And I read a lot of erotic romances. Among my favorite authors of that genre are Arianne Richmonde, Silvain Reynard, Raine Miller, Sylvia Day and RK Lilley.

Where do you get your inspiration from? From other erotic romance authors.

When did you start writing? What was the first thing you wrote? I started writing about four years ago. My first book, Dewitched: The Untold Story of the Evil Queen was my first book. It took me six months to write and three years to edit as I learned my new craft.
Are there any other Genres besides romance/erotica that you would like to dip your toes into? I also write romantic fantasies that have a snarky chick lit voice-- Dewitched and the sequel, Unhitched under the pen name E.L. Sarnoff

What do you do when you get writers block, if you have ever gotten it? I freak and eat and drink a lot of bad things.

Do you “research” the things in your book- you know like area, location, cars….*cough* sex? *Cough back* Yes. I need visual references. I always have my little book of naughty sex positions beside my computer; I google all time, and I test things out on my husband!

Where do you get your best writing done? Very early morning and late night when it's dark and quiet…. and don't have distractions.

Have your girls or your husband read your books? Or anyone in your family? Thankfully, no. I've read my hubs some bits and pieces but it freaks him out.

If you could pick anyone to play main characters in your books, who would it be? Let's just do heroines and heroes.... Gloria's Secret/Revenge... Kate Bosworth and Scott Eastwood... Undying Love...Anne Hathaway and Justin Timberlake... Seduced by the Park Avenue Billionaire.. Emma Stone and Chris Hemsworth.
*please give me a minute while I pick my mouth up off the floor and stop drooling!*

Are any of your characters based off of any one in your real life? *Sigh* Yes. Ari in Seduced by the Park Avenue Billionaire. That first scene in the book is close to reality and so his entire persona. And there’s a bit of me in all my heroines.

Are any of the events in your books based off of real life events? Like have you ever gone to the Eifel Tower? Yes. I'll keep it at that.
OoooOOOhh.. we are SOOO going to discuss this later!

If any of your main male lead characters were real, which one would you choose to date and why? I'd date all of them! I write male characters that I want to fall in love with-- or have loved in real life. ;-)

If you could change anything about one of your books, what would it be and why? Sometimes, I wish I didn't write a sneek peak of the sequel to Undying Love... Endless Love. I feel a lot of pressure to deliver a book as beautiful and moving as the first.
Moving is so fitting, I ugly cried for a while after that book.

Have you ever met a stranger on a train? YES!!!!!!
*raising an eyebrow*... I feel like you are avoiding this story...

How did you meet your husband? How did he propose? We met while working together at NBC in NYC. An office romance! However, he fell in love with someone else. I went to his first wedding (the ex) and his second (mine). I sadly cannot recall how he proposed. I think I threatened him with a proposal.
bahahaha...that's awesome!

What’s your favorite memory with him? (and yes, the birth of the twins counts.) I was jogging and he was waiting for me sprawled out on a park bench at the end of my five-mile run.

What was the best thing he surprised you with? A diamond pin inside one of those snowy globes at Xmas. *Sigh*
*swoon*

In all your books, your characters are a little kinky… are the stories based off personal experience? ;) LOL.... some yes.

Do you try any of your ‘ideas’ before you write them into a scene or story line? LOL...research... sometimes I have to beg my husband to test the logistics of a sex scene. Trust me, they're not easy to write, and there needs to be credibility and continuity.

Okay okay, I’m done with the personal stuff.. ready for quick fire? Give me the first thing that pops in your head..

Chocolate or vanilla? Coffee.
hahahaah...ookay...

Coffee or tea? Always coffee.

Dogs or cats? I have and love both... but okay... Dogs.

Shower or Bath? Shower

Winter or Spring? Winter

Whipped Cream or chocolate syrup? Neither. I like things pure.

Manscaped or peenafro? Huh??? I'll opt for the former.

Blindfold or handcuffs? Blindfold.

Under the table or on it? On it! Love being on top!

In a train or on a ferris wheel? Anywhere.
*high five*

Vanilla or kinky? A blend.

Indoors or outside? Indoors.

Spit or swallow? Swallow.
Hands or mouth? Either

Toys or real deal? Depends and sometimes both work in tandem.
o_O

Kisses on the lips or neck? Love both, but the neck is special.

Foreplay or no foreplay? Always the former. Men are clueless about this.
Ain't that the truth!

Snuggle after wards or give me space? Snuggle for sure.

I feel like after all those sex questions, we should snuggle Nelle. Okay. I’m done invading your personal life. Thanks for putting up with me. I think I totally love you even more now! **huge hugs**

Thank you, dear Dee! This was a delicious interview! MWAH!

So I just finished Gloria's secret a few weeks ago. If you haven't read it, you have to. Not only because I love the shit out of Nelle, but because this book is a continuation of that story. Where we are left , with that huge ass cliffhanger I was sure Jaime was up to something sinister.

I was sure he was trying to hurt Gloria. I was sure he was using her. So freaking sure of myself. Way to show me I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about Nelle. I'm sitting here reading this like I know Boris is going to pop up somewhere, where could he possibly be hiding in this story. Where are you you little nasty fool!?!?

Let me tell you, not where you expect. And what is going on is definitely not what you expect. I am so stunned with what went down. So stunned. I feel like I should read it again just to make sure all that shit happened and I didn't imagine it.

I don't think there could have been a better ending to this book. I don't think everything could have been linked together better than it was. It was serious awesomeness with a cute pink bow on top. Gloria's secret pink of course. There is plenty of drama, heart break (I know!), jaw dropping OMG, swooning, and happy smiles in this book. You can't go wrong with this ending if you read Gloria's secret. I give this book 4.5 hearts.
