Seamless by R.L. Griffin Blog Tour

Title: Seamless

Series: By A Thread #3
Author: RL Griffin
Release Date: December 10, 2013

Professional, successful, survivor Stella has mastered the art of appearances and conquering what life throws at her. Time after time, she chooses to fight even though she's consistently poised to break. It's that fight to get her life back, to make things right, to survive that defines who she is. She's been loved, left, lost, blown up, shot, and exploited. Physically, she's almost completely put back together. Mentally, Stella's one step from a vindictive retaliation that may or may not be her best choice.

In Seamless, Stella has no choice but to step into the ring with someone who she once loved. It's a dirty fight that will take all she has. Will she do what it takes to win? Will she make it out alive?

You'll cheer her on until you realize all is not what it seems. Appearances can be deceiving.

R.L. resides in the Atlanta area with her husband, son and two dogs. She was born and raised in the South. She attended Georgia Southern University and moved to Washington, D.C. to intern in the United States Senate during the impeachment trial. Falling in love with the city, she went to law school at American University, Washington College of Law. By a Thread is R.L.’s second book, but is the first in a series of books.
@RLGriffinauthor

Alright really R.L? Really?? do you even know what you have done to me? throughout this series you have repeatedly had me on edge, had me crying, had me pissed, had me not knowing which way was up. You would slowly put me back together but not seamlessly! Oh no you left me with holes in my heart. Had my emotions all over the place. I begged you to be nice. I asked you to sew my heart back together but no you did not. So now this is my heart
Do you see? it is broken and bandaged. You are so lucky I love you.

As you can read I am a bit sad and yeah just a bit upset. Stella is not perfect but she knows that better than anyone. She is foul mouthed and badass. Throughout this book I was pulled into so many emotions.
Yeah at every turn it was like Stella could not catch a damn break. Just when i thought she finally had everything figured out with George
WTF? why? just why? I didn't and still don't know how I feel about this whole situation.
Ultimately R.L. does a great job of building all the characters. I will miss all of them. especially Milly, she is an amazing BFF. Always there for El. You know a book is good when the author mentions several popular books and apps such as voxer and Pinterest. Well in my opinion anyway.

George is also one I will greatly miss. He has the patience of a saint. He loves Stella and is there for her unconditionally. I appreciated the time and measures he took to prove to her how he felt. And on a side note I HATE his family!!!

Now just so all you reading this review are not confused I did like the way the series ended. Was I upset? yes! The protagonist does things that made me cringe. Made me upset, made me want to slap her, but in the end she figures out what she needs. She makes mistakes, she never makes excuses, but she is broken.

This author has continued to amaze me with her writing, each book better than the last. This book left me feeling satisfied.
If you are looking for a series that has you on the edge, makes you mad, cry, scream and smile then this is the series for you!

I rated this book

5/5 hearts
