Yes! Just yes! Brooke has done an amazing job with this book. It's the perfect combo of billionaire CEO-ish, player-ish guy and timid girl with major self esteem issues. So through this whole book I literally had my fingers crossed that Becca was going to pummel Ashlynn, I will admit that first and foremost. Actually pummel isn't even what I wanted. I wanted her to body slam the chick. I think more importantly I wanted Becca to stand up for herself against this chick. Her character was so well written to make you want to hate her. And let me tell you, you WILL hate Ashlynn for the stunts she pulls. You will also hate Connor, dickhead, l couldn't believe the level of betrayal this chick, Becca, lived through. And it just keeps going. The Ashlynn chick just can't stop rubbing salt in the wound. See, this is why you just keep hoping Becca stands up for herself. But she never does. And I don't blame her with all her self esteem issues. Good god with the shit Ashlynn said her whole life. Then her mom too. Gah! Becca is so real. Her issues and self esteem problems are so real life relatable, something almost every woman will instantly connect with. Everything that is an issue between her and Tyler is so real. The things that happen, that she hears, broke. My. Heart. I was pulling for them. Hoping they got their happily ever after. You can't help but fall for Tyler and hope she forgives him. But the best part. Maybe even my favorite, is everything she tells everyone at the event. She finally gets it out. And I loved it! I can't wait to see where this goes. Good job Brooke!

Synopsis:
Becca finally found her courage and faced her tormentors head on to get what she deserved: respect and Tyler Conklin. With her new found strength in herself Becca’s faith in Tyler is solid, but is he willing to completely open up to her? They both have past baggage, and as Becca says, Tyler’s is particularly old. Will they finally get over their inner turmoil?
With everything they have been through, you would think Becca and Tyler have learned that secrets get them nowhere. They have made great leaps and bounds in their relationship, but Becca can’t help but feel he is still keeping something from her. Between the local detective snooping around and asking questions at the Conklin building and Tyler’s evasive answers, Becca remains skeptical about his excuses. Even though the detective seems more interested in RJ’s “projects”, Tyler’s hands seem to be in the pot as well.
Unfortunately, Tyler’s past comes back in his face along with his shady business. Will Becca hold true to her new found confidence and claim what’s hers… including Tyler?

I love it, I loved it, I loved it! I loved everything about it. I loved the character growth from both the male and female leads. And I can't believe I'm gonna say this but Brooke was able to take a character I despised and actually make me like him a little.. Don't freak out, I'm talking about Connor. Then we have Nathan. I had a feeling I knew what was going on with Nathan but then I'd doubt myself and question it... but it does make so much sense. What he said on New Year's, now that's funny. Moving on to Tyler's mom.... I felt so bad for her! But when she goes to his parent's house for the holidays, well played Becca, well played. She maneuvers those minefields like a pro. Everything about this book was amazing. Okay, except Margo. Can't say I was excited for her return. Obviously neither were Becca and Tyler. Brooke just did a spectacular job with this sequel. Brooke keeps you engaged and addicted the whole time. How can you not love all things Tyler Conklin!?!? I cant wait to see the end of this story! But I don't know if I can wait long! And let me tell you. You won't see the end coming. Mitch! GAAAAAAAAAHHH!
