Slowly We Trust Release Date by Chelsea M. Cameron

SLOWLY WE TRUST
by Chelsea M. Cameron
 April 2014

BOOK SUMMARY:

Audrey Valdez didn’t mean to fall for Will Anders. He isn’t her type. At all. But his goofy smile, Star Wars quotes and athletic body make it impossible. She's lived so long in the darkness and Will is like the sun. He makes her laugh more than she has in years and cares for her more than her own family.

But there are things about Audrey that Will doesn't know, things he can't know. She tries to push him away, but he just ends up getting closer to her, and to her secret. Is the risk of losing him forever worth the chance a being with the only person she's ever loved who has loved her back?

Dee's Review:

This book had my emotions all over the place. It's a pure emotional rollercoaster.

There were so many times where Will had me swooning, Lottie made me upset and Aud had me cursing the skies.

Let me explain. Will. Sweet, sweet Will. He's so in love with her it's adorable. The things he says and does for her are nothing short of beautiful. And it's not like we haven't seen this coming with the other books, but it's still a beautiful thing to read.

Okay, now Lottie. I get she's in the middle because Will is her twin and Aud is one of her best friends. But if I heard her say dont put me in then middle one more time I may have screamed. I get it. But he's your brother and at times Aud was being insane.

But yet anytime Will was doing something she felt the need to comment on or put him in his place, she did.  Not cool. It upset me. Stop picking your friends over your brother Lotie. He was heartbroken. Now.. aud. Her secret. It's a doozy. But really. Thank you!?!? And why didn't she think he could handle it? Why couldn't she just take a chance? Why couldn't she just talk to her aunt instead of her mom? There were so many things she could've handled differently. But, they are in college, that does explain some of it. It's not like we all made responsible decisions at that age. Though aud made a pretty epic one, and it was the right
one.

I really liked the way Chelsea wrote this book and the journey it took you on. The emotions it pulls out of you.

And I really like that we get to see more of the little group of friends. I love their little family of weirdos. And I'm so happy that Aud and will FINALLY got their happy ending.

I give this book 4 hearts.
