What the hell? Did that really just happen? What I read was something I have not read in a long time. This was a complete mind twist and turns throughout. It went from me hating the characters to somewhat feeling bad for them. I only hated about three of them but Jacob he is a good man. Very good man. This book was remarkable.
When I first started reading it I wasn’t quite sure about
Stephanie or how I felt about her. She pissed me off really. I get not all
things are like we want it. I mean she tried to change her personal life. You
do see the effort she puts forth but her decisions maybe not the wisest. You
know that saying the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Yea I think
she figured the true meaning behind that phrase.
I know that I haven’t mentioned many of the characters but I
don’t want to go into full detail because I would give the story away. There
are four characters that you will meet, Stephanie, Jacob, Derrick, and Karen. I
have not really said too much about Derrick and Karen but that’s because they
made me so mad. OMG!!!! Those two are something else, Derrick more than Karen.
Reading this book
takes you on a roller coaster ride. You are constantly second guessing yourself
on what you think is going on. I thought for sure I had it all figured out
until another turn in the road had me scratching my head the next. My head is
still spinning!!!!
I highly recommend this book. If you need a book full of
lust, desire, and great sex scenes here you go. But on the other hand it also
has the right amount of mystery. It is a thrilling ride that I enjoyed every
page of it. I am giving this book 5 hearts.
