Thirty days and thirty nights!
Ashley Jones has been sitting in Sebastian Cruz's office. For hours. Behind the imposing wooden doors sits the man who stole her family's island home. And she wants it back.
But the fight is knocked from her when Ashley recognizes him as the man she knows intimately;the man who betrayed her after their blissful night together.
Sebastian has no intention of giving the island back, but he does want Ashley. He agrees to her deal, but has a few sub-clauses of his own. Specifically, a month at his beck and call; and in his bed!

Want to know what I love in a book? Angst and drama. Why you ask? for the simple fact that without these two things what can really hold my attention? Good looking man, great sex scenes? yeah that does too, but drama adds the extra flare to the fire. How did this book hold up? lets start with the basics.
Ashley Jones is the daughter of a famous tennis pro who was a womanizer. One scandalous affair after another. Ashley's own mother was a mistress. She lives on Inez Key. Her island, the only thing she has left in the world.
Sebastian Cruz, a hard working very wealthy man who has revenge on the brain. He wants the island that was stolen from his father, Inez Key. He will do anything in his power to get it back.
That is how these two meet and unfortunately for Ashley, Sebastian knows how her father acquired his childhood home. He thinks he knows Ashley, he thinks he knows many things, and he is wrong.
I really didn't like Sebastian, he made me mad! I was like what a mother lovin' jerk. WTH is his problem, but the more I read the more intrigued I became with him, his motives were clear or were they?
Here is where drama begins, he wants the island he finds a way to take it from Ashley even though she will not sell it. She, goes back to ask him for the island and a deal is made. For me, I was like
30 days as his mistress? ummmm...I know she felt she needed to, I get it but
Then little by little Ashley begins to uncover the truth. In my head I am all
But damn it, there was all that good sex! how do you run from that? so frustrating. When the final blowout comes, I was like
a little too quick for my liking.
Even though it was a quick read I guess I expected to see more of the days they spent together, how the attraction went from one level to another. I did enjoy the book and the drama part kept me interested. Sebastian is a jerk but I understood his reasons. Ashley is young and inexperienced so for her forgiving him after her lied so easily I guess I can see that aspect as well. Angst level? not to high but the book was still enjoyable.
I gave this book
