Tug Of War by K Larsen Blog Tour Review and interview

 Tug of War
By: K. Larsen
Release Date: Oct. 24, 2013

Impulsive, YES. Irresponsible, SURE. Necessary, PROBABLY. Going to end badly, most likely. Does any of that matter to me, no. I decided that I can't please everyone so this week my only goal is to please me. I’m a selfish cow but I can’t seem to help it. I’m Clara Lord. I own Bloodline’s Tattoo Parlor, have a filthy mouth, no filter and a really strong objection to bossy idiots, pet names and wealthy men.

You will hate me, love me or love to hate me but either way it doesn’t matter. Everything I touch turns to crap and it’s all my fault. See, I lived through hell. Then I escaped hell and carefully spent the next eight years crafting a perfect little life until Domini Napoli screwed it all up. Now nothings right. Everything’s wrong and all my secrets are coming out.

Interview with K. Larson

I just want to begin by saying that I truly LOVED this book. It was executed well and had a twist I did not see coming. You know I love me some book boyfriends and I choose....well I won't say just yet but Thank you for sitting down with us for the interview.

1. When did you begin writing?
I started writing just about 15 months ago.

2. Where is your favorite place to write?
Uh, couch or desk I set up- it's supa dupa adorable!

3. Who or what is your biggest inspiration?
Inspiration comes from life! Friends! Family! and of course Reading!!!

4. What inspired you to write Tug of War?
I was really tired of personally reading the whiney  virgin good girl trying to save the bad boy. I wanted raw, honest, gritty stuff! So I wrote it!

5. If you Dom and Sawyer were real, who would you choose and why?
OMG> seriously? I adore them both. But knowing me, I'd probably choose Sawyer!

6. Who do you see (actor, model whatever) as Dom, Sawyer and Clara?
Hm... Dom -- Gerard Butler (sigh) ok maybe I would pick him.  Sawyer-- William Levy or maybe Chris Hemsworth...Clara... oh my Clara --Minka Kelly or Lyndsy Fonseca

7. The twist that you throw in there was that always a part of the storyline or did that surprise you just like it did me?
When I started writing I knew Clara had secrets, I knew what they were, it was just a matter of how it happened..

8. I seriously wanted to smack Clara at certain points in the book well shit I wanted to slap several of the characters! If you could change anything about any of the characters what would it be?
I wouldn't change them, not a thing, I might possibly have made Clara make a better decision about her trip to Miami, but then again, it's soooooooooo her.

9. Is there any other genre you would like to dip into? (bahahaha that sounds sexual)
I think I'll dip into anything once, shit, you were kidding. Right Focus Katie!!! I am currently writing a story that's a little darker than the others, but I just don't seem to have the sticky sweet love story in me! (My brain must be whacked.)

10. How did you think readers would react to Clara going from a domineering relationship to another?
Two completely different relationships...two completely different types of domineering...wouldn't you say? The one she chooses is a gabillion times more healthy than the other, I hope that readers take that bit home.

Alright now I will tell you who I choose and that is.......SAWYER!!! I liked Dom but he kinda was an asshole and he pissed me off. I think I like tattooed men with motorcycles it just makes my panties wet. Since I am your favorite hoe I think you should write a story with me stealing Sawyer and us riding off into the sunset!!!

And I think Sawyer's story has been started and you will most certainly be oh so happy with it!!!! But you never know, he might end up with Fictional Sandie! Hmm... that's not a bad idea, or name.... I can run with that ;)

This book held up to its title. It truly was a tug of war. Starting this book I fell in love with Clara from the first meeting with her. She is smart ass, no filter, foul mouth, stunning, and a bad ass. Although being all these great things she does have her insecurities. I think it’s awesome that she is following her dreams and being a tattoo artist. Clara’s relationship with Allie is great. It gets strained but really what parent child relationship doesn’t. She is a sweet, smart, pretty young lady. She is like her mom in a lot of aspects as well.

Dominic I want to take home with me and to keep him. He is domineering, hard to take, hot, total business man. He shoes us his tender side that I could have just ate up. I can say he does tip Clara’s world over and I think it was something she needs.

Sawyer, Sandie wants (she can have him), relationship with Clara could be classified as he is pussy whooped. Yep I said it. Honestly she runs all over him. I did feel sorry for him because really who does what he did throughout their entire relationship. He is a sweet, caring, guy but was he need an eye opener. I hope Mrs. K.  Larson that we get a book on Sawyer???? Maybe????When??? Cause I need more K. Larson.....

I am giving this book 4 hearts. I can say that Clara will piss, and I mean really piss, you off in the beginning. I was yelling at my kindle “Just do it.” This story is a really good story and has you drawn in from the beginning.
