WOW! I can not even express how much I loved this book.
I have always liked reading the male POV, although I loved REAL and would have been happy with just that, Katy Evans gave us more and in this book, I got so much more.

That is how I was for this book. I knew it was Remy's POV, I just wasn't sure how it would go. I have read many male POV's that are like eh just the same story and then I have read male POV's that have blown me away.

Remy always seems to blow my mind wether it is in his own POV or not. Katy Evans build his character in such a way that I was mesmerized. Toggling back n forth from the past to the future, I got a real sense of Remy and who and why he is the way he is.
I appreciated the way he felt for Brooke, the things he did to ensure that she was always taken care of. There are certain points in the book that I wanted to still slap the crap out of Brooke, seriously every time I read about her going to Scorpion, my skin still crawls and I get upset. As a woman, I have always respected my man. When he says Trust me, I trust him until he gives me reason not to.
I liked that I was able to be in Remy's head, got to feel all the emotions and love that he has for his woman. I was not disappointed and so glad it was not word for word of REAL. It gave me more insight to why he did/does the things that he does. When he goes speedy what he feels. It all came through and I enjoyed it. Let me just say that Katy owes me for batteries, because all that damn sexual tension had to be relieved!
Funny, how now every time see a lion I think of Remy. I see a fighter I think of Remy, I see roses I think of Remy. Katy has created this character to be so REAL (<-- hehehe) that he comes to life off the pages and enraptured me with his presence. He is an alpha and I could definitely feel that. He is sweet, caring, wonderful and promising man even though he had no prime example of what that was. His ability to overcome and heal because he knows he has someone to live for is astounding.
Katy Evans thank you so much for giving me this complicated man to love and cherish. Now I am going to cry because I seriously don't think anyone can compare to him.
