Wow.
Okay beginning to end, Wow is all I can say. Cassia has amazed me on this one.
Just when I thought I knew where this story was going, BAM!
Nope, turn in the
story. So of course, I’m over here all TEAM ADAM. Go Adam, be good to our girl.
Sweep her off her feet, she deserves it.
Okay, maybe not that Adam, but you get the point. In my mind there was no other decision. Even if Claire pushed Chris away, Adam is her love now.. that's what counts right? Our poor Claire. The poor thing has
been so much. And I was so sure she was going to get her Happy Ever After with
Adam and things were going to be smooth sailing. But nooooooo Daddy has to send
him to Hawaii for 2 months. And thus starts our rocky road.
And no Adam, please don’t cheat while you’re
in HAWAII… THEN we have the bomb that was dropped on THAT poor guy. And in
swoops Chris. He wants Claire to be his. And in creeps our doubts. Man Adam, you left the door wide open. GAH!!
He wants her to see she is still in
love with him. I knew he wouldn’t give it up. But man. He sure does pull out
all the stops. Then the drama with the
baby, Abby, and the parents.. and wanting to see her, and Chris's injury.. SO MUCH DRAMA.... CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!
I swear it feels like Claire’s past always
seems to haunt her and I just want to cry. I wanted her to get her family, to
heal, and she does start to. I was like okay this is where we’re gonna go. THEN
BAM! Another turn. So many turns, and surprises… and so many unanswered
questions. And all we have left is…waiting til the next book. DANG THAT CASSIA
LEO and her cliffhangers…
I give this book 4.5/5 hearts. Oh Cassia, You rock my socks girlfriend.
