Day 15 Sharon Kay!! Last Day of the author/blog spotlight.

Whooooo we made it to DAY 15!!

Can you believe it that we made it? I am so happy and excited. Thank you to all the blogs that helped put this spotlight tour on. Thank you to all the authors who participated. Thank you to all you readers for coming along this journey with us. We are so thankful to every single person who helped us get the word out about these 15 amazing authors.

For our 2yr Blogiversary, I was lucky enough to get 15 authors and 4 blogs to help me. Today I am happy to spotlight this author. She writes Paranormal Romance.
There is a Q&A video with the Author, where you can learn more about Author Sharon Kay. I hope you all enjoy and don't forget to enter the giveaway.

Sharon Kay writes award-winning fiction and can never get enough reading time. She loves paranormal romance, with romantic suspense following close on its heels.  She loves winter and black coffee, and is endlessly inspired to write kick-ass heroines and the men strong enough to capture their hearts.
Sharon lives in the Chicago area with her husband and son, and didn’t expect to write one book, let alone a series.  But WICKED WIND and the Solsti series formed in her head one weekend and refused to stay quiet until she put pen to paper.  Her characters tend to keep her up at night, as they banter, fall in love, and slay endless varieties of power-hungry demons.
She loves to hear from readers!

Thank you all once again for making this a successful spotlight tour!

Day six...Day SIIIIIXXX Author/Blogger spotlight

Today is DAY 6 of...

I know its hard to believe but yes today is day 6!!! It has been quite a journey thus far but San and I are enjoying it and love that we have all of your support and the support from these great authors.

Today we are spotlighting Author Sarah J. Pepper
She is a Paranormal author, who writes retellings of your favorite childhood heros (LOL) I don't know about you but I love retellings, especially when they are creepy. Sarah does these stories justice. Here is a little video of her letting all of you know just a bit more about herself.

I specialize in dark, paranormal romance – think “happy ever after” but with a twisted, dark chocolate center. Real-life romance isn’t only filled with hugs, kisses, unicorns, and rainbows. True-love can be more thoroughly described in times of darkness and tribulation. It’s in those harsh moments where you see what a person is truly capable of – both the good and bad. Sometimes prince-charming isn’t always on time, and the glass slipper is a little snug. However, it doesn’t mean Charming is not Mr. Right, and who says every shoe is the perfect fit?

"Warning: Addictive passion erupts from her mouthwatering descriptions" - recent review.

Sarah J. Pepper lives in South Dakota with her real-life prince charming. At a young age, she fell for paranormal books and now incorporates that genre with romance that thrives in the hearts of us all. When she’s not storytelling, she’s most likely biking, hoarding chocolate, or taking a bubble bath. Get a glimpse inside her head at

YAY we love her here at BBR's.

Todays
we are featuring is a good friend of ours. We love her blog and the unique way she does things there. She loves darker romances.  Check out her video and her blog.

Day 5of the Author/ Blogger spotlight tour and Giveaway!!!

Being able to blog about authors in this Indie community is awesome. Being able to help and work with other bloggers is always a great pleasure.
For Book Boyfriend Reviews 2yr Blogiversary, the blog was asked to help host an author/blogger spotlight tour. Today is my day.

Today is Day 5 of the tour and so far there have been some great Authors with more to come.
Today I am happy to be spotlighting S.N. Williams.

She writes New Adult Contemporary Romance, and her books are amazing.
If you are in the mood for a great NA read then I recommend any one of her books.
Here is today's Author video spotlight so you can get to know the author just a little bit...

The girls at Book Boyfriend Reviews also asked me to do an interview. Here it is so all of you can get to know me just a little bit better.

Book Links:

Shannon is from Dothan, Alabama. She is married to her best friend and has three kids. Her first book, New Beginnings, was written due to things that happened in her life. She is an avid reader who loves all her book boyfriends. She is also on a blog with Sandie and it’s called Book Boyfriend Reviews.
Social Media Links:

1.When did you begin your blog?
I began my blog in October of 2013

2. What made you want to be a blogger?
I was reading a lot and following other blogs and I just loved it. I loved that they were sharing so many amazing books and I wanted to do the same. So a friend of mine talked me into creating my own blog and I'm so glad she did because I enjoy helping all the amazing authors.

3.What has been one of your most favorite books to review?
I absolutely loved reviewing Death of the Body by Rick Chiantaretto. It is such an amazing read. It will hook you from the beginning and never looses your interests. His writing is unique and his writing is just beautiful.

4.What was your number one book of 2014 and why?
My number one book in 2014 would have to be Irrevocable by Skye Callahan. I absolutely loved this book and think everyone who loves books like Fifty Shades will as well. It's remarkable and an amazing story that stayed with me for days. Irrevocable is dark, exciting, suspenseful, and just overall everything I could have possibly hoped for in a book. It absolutely blew me away

5.Who else do you have on the blog with you?
On the blog I have some amazing girls that review for me, Tess & Randi. Love them to pieces. Then I have Tess helping me keep up with things on the blog. She's a wonderful friend and I love her to pieces. We also have Bree, who has been remarkable to me and supported me for a long time now.

6. Do you post everyday or every other day or certain times of the week?
I post pretty much everyday.

7. What is your favorite genre?
I have to go with the dark and suspenseful and erotica books.

8. You want readers to come to your blog so what do you do to separate it from other blogs?
I try to have fun giveaways as often as I can and come up with new spotlights to share with the followers. Like recently I started spotlighting models who have been on book covers or used as a muse. I also have fun takeovers planned as often as I can.

9. What do you love about blogging?
I love that feeling you get when someone tells you thank you or how thankful they are that you took the time to share their book for them or to review their book. I love being able to share my love of books with the world.

10. What goals do you have for your blog this upcoming year?
The only goal I have set for myself right now with the blog is to do my best to get more reviews done because I didn't get as many done last year as I would've liked. And to get caught up on the books from authors I support. Also to come up with more fun things to share with everyone.

If you missed yesterdays spotlight or Sunday's check them out below.

What made you want to be a blogger?
I started reading a lot more after my mom passed away in 2011 as my escape and started sharing what I was reading on Facebook. After meeting other bloggers and readers I decided to start my own blog; it made it easier for them to follow along with what I was reading.

What has been one of your most favorite books to review?
Karina Halle’s Love, in Spanish. I read Love, in English on the flight to Book Bash and gushed to her about how much I loved Mateo and Vera’s story. Like, LOVED LOVED it! She had ARC opportunities for Love, in Spanish in NYC in October and I think I may have promised her my first
born during my fan girling.  I squealed and jumped when Mateo landed in my mailbox (it was a paperback ARC)

What was your number one book of 2014 and why? ßis this a trick question?
Ok, since it’s by the same author, this counts as one lol. Love, in English and Love, in Spanish (to be fair, LiS is a companion novel so it can totally count as one
book!!!) Mateo and Vera’s love story was angsty, and complicated as HELL and they couldn’t be more different, BUT they didn’t let their differences get in the way of how the other made them feel. Their love was deep and it was real.
No matter what BS came their way (and there was plenty) they never stopped loving each other.  I could FEEL their
love for one another deep in my chest *sigh*

Who else do you have on the blog with you?
I blog solo

Do you post every day or every other day or certain times of the week?
I used to have posts scheduled every day but I found myself getting burnt out, feeling like I was constantly setting p posts. Now I’ve cut back to every few days and I’m trying to focus on posting more reviews.

What is your favorite genre?
 Romance.

You want readers to come to your blog so what do you do to separate it from other blogs?
I try to insert my personality into my posts whether it’s sarcasm, snark, or humor. IDK I just try to let my blog be a
reflection of me in real life.

What do you love about blogging?
I love finding the hidden gems of books. I love talking to other bloggers, readers, and authors about the books we all love and having people that get me and get my love for books.

What goals do you have for your blog this upcoming year?
I want to try and review more books than I did last year and just keep growing.

FIRST DAY!!! 15 Authors, 15 Days, 15 Giveaways!!!!!

Excited does not even begin to explain how we are feeling. Today is the first day of the 15 Authors. 15 Days. 15 giveaways!!!

Today we here at Book Boyfriend Reviews are spotlighting
GENA LUTZ!!!

Watch the video then read all about Gena. Oh and don't forget the giveaway!!

1. Tell us your name, about your books and what you are currently working on.
A: My name is Gena D. Lutz
B: I’m currently working on two projects. My main project is the second book to my Kris Chase series, Devil’s Playground—due out sometime in March. My second project is a mult-author novella, featuring 13 brand new paranormal stories from your favorite USA Today, New York Times, and Amazon Bestselling authors.

2. What about paranormal do you enjoy writing?
I love everything about it! I can’t see myself ever writing in another genre.

3. Where do your ideas come from?
Honestly, they come out of thin air. If I’m writing an existing story I am able to plot some of the scenes out. But other than that, I’m a complete pantster.

4. Have you always enjoyed the paranormal genre if so what authors inspired you?
I would say that Laurell K. Hamilton is the author that has influenced my writing the most. Because of her Anita Blake series, I fell head over heels in author-love with her.

5. What are your writing goals for 2015?
My goal for 2015 is to publish Devil’s Playground, the multi-author anthology, A Pinch of Fairy Dust—2nd book to Chasing Magic, Harper’s Undoing—3rd book in the Prime Wolf series, as well as make it to my very first signing at the end of the year.

6. What is the best thing you have heard/ read from a reader/fan?
Oh that’s an easy question to answer. Several of my readers have likened Created Darkly to the Anita Blake series. After blushing profusely, all I could think about that was… no freakin’ way!

7. Best thing about your readers?
I have the best readers ever! There’s not just one thing I adore about them…there’s a million things!!! xoxoxoxox

8. Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?
Unfortunately, I have been so busy writing that I haven’t had any time to find any new writers; maybe later in the year.

9. Did you learn anything from writing your books and what was it?
Yes, I have learned that it takes a lot of patience, uninterrupted time, and a lot of focus, to write a book.

10. What is your favorite motivational phrase? No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
