Sweet Possession by J Daniels, review by Dee

My rating: 5+++ of 5 hearts

Synopsis:

A sassy, in-your-face baker. A panty-stealing, dirty-talking accountant. And a bathroom quickie that changed their lives forever.

Wedding hook-ups never amount to anything.

Unless that hook-up knocks you on your ass.

For Dylan Sparks and Reese Carroll, the big day can’t arrive soon enough. Dylan, stressed to the max from overbearing mothers and last minute preparations, struggles to keep her sanity. As for Reese, he’s fighting to not only keep his bride-to-be safe from creepy investors, but also to make it to the actual wedding day without losing his mind in the process.

Throw in a crazy group of friends, and a bachelor/bachelorette party weekend getaway, and you have a recipe for the sweetest wedding of the year.

Reese Carroll and Dylan Sparks cordially invite you to read Sweet Possession

I have said it before and I stand by this statement and will reiterate it. J Daniels is going places, she's on that list of "authors to watch".

I've read Sweet Addiction and went all swoony over Dylan, Reece and her entourage then. But in Sweet Possession, I fell in love with Reese. I thought I had it bad before, but I think he just moved to the top of my list.

Billy hit it dead on when he says Reese makes all other men look bad, and that holds true to book boyfriends too. He puts them all to shame. If you were to give me a choice between my love for reading Gideon or Reese, I may just pick Reese. That just goes to prove how well J Daniels has not only written the character of Reese, but her story as well.

There is so much going on with SP. We've got drama, humor, sass, and of course, steam. Not only that, but we have this epic love story coming to an end. And it's not just amazing because of what they go through or how they met, to me it's epic because the depth of it. The amazingness of it. The all around incredible love that these two characters share, but you feel. Reese may seem dominant, but he's really just protective and so utterly in love he can't help it. And Dylan she's so sassy she loves to egg on his dominant side and bring it out, tick him off, stoke the fire.

There was a lot I was feeling when reading this story. I went from swoony to wanting to peen punch someone, back to being swoony, worried, excited, just a while range of emotions. J Daniels didn't hold anything back in making sure she cover the whole range she could pull from us.

I didn't just love this story because of the plot or he characters. I loved this story because J Daniels flawlessly executed the story and how she delivered it. I don't think 5 stars can clearly communicate how much I loved this book. It deserves so much more.
