Adam, Enough Said Promo, Review and Giveaway

Adam, Enough Said

Our past was painful and a lot of mistakes were made, but that was then - this is now.
Mia wants a fight? I'll give her one.
She wants to leave me? I'll make her stay.
This is our future. She belongs to me.

Our past wasn't just painful, it was soul-shattering, and no amount of time will change that.
Adam wants a fight? Bring it.
He won't let me leave? I'll make him pay.
This is my future. I don't belong to him.

Follow Adam and Mia’s journey through the deliciously dysfunctional madness they like to call...marriage.

Author’s note: This is the third book in the This Can’t be Happening Series, but it can be read as a stand-alone.

Author’s warning: Mature content, lots of cussing (as in, A LOT), a five-foot-three, redheaded, terror of a woman and a sexy, possessive, crazy, hot alpha cop.

Dee's Review:
It's been a whirlwind reading this book. This was a love story that was tucked inside a minefield of drama and I fucking loved it.

Adam is a cop. And he is also a domineering, alpha, say the wrong thing, gonna fuck up a lot asshole who worships, and I mean lives for Mia. The story starts in present day then rewinds back to how they met. Slowly you're taken through their ups and downs, marriage and fuck ups. And lets just say when Adam fucks up, it's monumental. I think he lives by the theory go big or go home. Because he goes big... And is big... {ooops....Freudian slip} .. Uhhh...I mean he goes big, a lot. But he's got her back now and he's not letting her go. Granted he may have forced her hand a little, but she's back. And I mean literally cave man like not letting her go. But i have to say. I got it. I was sitting back thinking, and this scared me, I totally get why he did it.

When you love someone that much, you don't give up. You do whatever it takes to get them to work it out. I get it. Shit happened and she needed to hear the truth. She needed to know what happened. Too much time had passed. Too much time was lost. But man she gets fired up. And it was freaking hilarious. She destroyed. DESTROYED his shit and I laughed.

Then he goes all alpha on her and demands whatever he wants. God it was so freaking hot. Their relationship is this big pissing contest almost. And I swear most of the time she just liked to fight, that build up of emotion. Because the fall down... Well lets just say he made it enjoyable. He may have to work on his communication skills but he sure knew how to work her out. And he works her good. She gave just as good as she got. And there is so much pain in their relationship, for both of them, but it was beautiful to see them healing. Not alone. Finally not alone, but together. Baby steps and little by little, but they are together.

But it was like every time they took a step in the right direction, something came up. And they weren't small rocks in the road. They were freaking boulders. Drug lords, crazy exes, revenge. It was insane. He refused to give up. She might have refused to accept things and how she felt, but he refused to give up anything. He wasn't going to walk away from an epic love like that and was taking every possible step to make sure she didn't either.

Adam, enough said sucked me in from the first chapter and spit me out at the end with a grin on my face begging for more. I hope there is more because all these characters were awesome. The whole family sucks you in. Two alpha men, what's not to love. Hell, let's be honest, any alpha men. But two Adams. That makes it even better.  Be ready to be addicted, bossed around, tossed around caveman style, sucked in, and left wanting more. I give this book 4.5 hearts. And can I say I love that he calls her freckles?? and his heart? Really??!? swoon...
