Book Four in the Reaper’s MC Series
As Reapers Motorcycle Club president, Reese “Picnic” Hayes has given his entire life to the club. After losing his wife, he knew he’d never love another woman. And with two daughters to raise and a club to manage, that was just fine with him. These days, Reese keeps his relationships free and easy—he definitely doesn’t want to waste his time on a glorified cleaning lady like London Armstrong.
Too bad he’s completely obsessed with her.
Besides running her own business, London’s got her junkie cousin’s daughter to look after—a more reckless than average eighteen-year-old. Sure she’s attracted to the Reapers’ president, but she’s not stupid. Reese Hayes is a criminal and a thug. But when her young cousin gets caught up with a ruthless drug cartel, Reese might be the only man who can help her. Now London has to make the hardest decision of her life—how far will she go to save her family?

"So I guess this probably means our deal is off?"
Her voice sounded uncertain, almost scared. Still a little slurred, too. I turned to glare at her, taking in her tangled blonde hair, the curve of her generous hips in those tight jeans and the way her shirt drooped low enough to show plenty of cleavage.
"Not if you want to keep the club accounts," I growled, wondering why the hell I didn't just fire her ass. My cock reminded me that we weren't finished with her yet. "I'll see you out at my place on Tuesday. Make enough food for leftovers and maybe we'll have a talk about getting a crew into The Line."
"Thank you," she whispered.
"Eat shit," I said, and then slammed out the door.
Seems like a bit of an overreaction, Heather gloated as I climbed into my truck.
She could eat shit, too. Fucking women. Even dead, they stuck together.
WOW now that is how you write an MC book.
I have been lucky enough to receive an eARC from the publisher for the last 3 books in this series. I have not been disappointed once. I thought when I started this series that there would be no way Joanna could top the last book....I was wrong. She is a brilliant writer who can transport you smack dab into the middle of Idaho, with a bunch of rough men. Next thing you know you are fighting bad guys and cussing like a sailor. Lastly you will get so turned on by these said ruffians that it doesn't matter who they are and what they do you are just begging to be banged!
In this installment we get a peek into Picnic, Em's dad. We know he is a slut after his old lady died he just didn't have in him to find another special person, or should I say no one was special enough for him to want to change. Until London.
Okay so here is where I was like how can she change this up? I mean in the last book yeah Em is part of this world so she knows what it entails, but the 2 previous to this we had the good women who had no idea what MC life was like. London, well she doesn't know the inner working of the life but she works for the MC. She owns a cleaning business. She has a younger cousin she has custody of, Jessica. This chick is a bit wild, but London has done everything she can to help Jess. So when their world gets intermingled with the MC world chaos ensues.
I enjoyed London's character. She is a mother in every sense even if she was not the one who birthed Jess. She has given up everything to raise her.
Pic, man oh man. Let me just say that normally "older" men are a turn off for me in a book. I just can't even fathom a relationship with an older guy, it grosses me out. I know I have issues. BUT HOT DAMN I will take Picnic. I mean seriously, Joanna wrote him in a way that had me panting and wanting more. She just knows how to write this men so they are desirable but not to be fucked with!
I liked Pic and London together, I felt they meshed well and I loved the fact that it wasn't instant. It took time for her to really come to be okay with wanting Pic. Then Joanna RIPS the rug out from under me and has me so pissed at London I can't even see straight! WHAT.THE.HELL??!!! I could not believe it. I read it over and over because my brain was not processing this. No it can't be... but...but...but... I liked her... a lot. I went from liking a character so much to destesting her in a matter of 1 paragraph. I still can not wrap my head around it. I mean I guess I get it....kinda....no eff that no I don't get it. I don't know what she was thinking but seriously I am pissed about it. I can't go into detail but its a serious twist in the book and this is where I leave you. I know I suck but in order to understand YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!
