In the ring, I’m trained, powerful, and in control.
And that’s exactly how I built my legacy.
For years I’ve trained to fight, but no championship title in the world has prepared me for the most important fight of my life.
Out of the ring, I’m untamed and reckless.
Which is why my wife of nine years has filed for divorce.
I’m done with living up to the bad boy image my middleweight titles come with. Boxing is my life, but the money and the fame mean nothing to me without her by my side.
This fight is for the woman that I love.
And I can’t lose.
I won’t lose.

THIS BOOK!! Omg I loved this book so much. Right from the jump it sucked me in, the more I read the more I was like YAAASSSS. Why? Because this book is about second chances and love. The book moves seamlessly, the story is told so well that I could see the characters so clearly.
Julian, this man broke my heart as well as his wife Natalia's. I can say he is loyal and very clearly it shows how much he loves her. Yes, he went through a rough time and yes he did things that made me cry BUT in spite of all of that he showed where his loyalty lies and that is with Natalia.
Natalia ahhh this woman. She has been through so much and my heart broke for her. She stood by her man through thick and thin, in return all she got was hurt. As much as I loved Julian I was mad for Natalia but as the story progressed I loved that she stood on her own two feet. Did she love Julian? Unquestionably
Did she want her marriage? Yes, but sometimes in a relationship we need to sit back and stop fighting for someone and let that person prove what you mean to them. That is what Natalia does.
What I love about this story is that it reminded me so much of my own relationship with my husband. For year I fought for the marriage for years I was second to his career, one day I stopped fighting ready to give up and that is when he stepped up and began to see how unhappy I was. He picked up the sword and began fighting just as Julian does. My husband went to great lengths to prove his love just as Julian does.
Another reason I love this book is because it's true to life, yes marriage is hard and worth fighting for and sometimes you have to go back to the beginning to realize what is most important. I enjoy second chance books and this one is just everything. I love Julian and Natalia, I loved the ending because THE FEELS.

She has and continues to write characters with flaws. Ms. Montes said, “No one is perfect and neither are my characters. It makes the storyline a bit more realistic, in my opinion. But I also feel no matter who you are or the life you have lived, everyone deserves someone to love and be loved. I’m a hopeless romantic, and enjoy writing a story where my readers feel like they’re living and feeling every emotion.”
