I am excited to be apart of this tour. Thank you so much for stopping by. Don't forget to enter the giveaway.
Kalliope lives with one purpose. To inspire. As an immortal muse, she doesn’t have any other choice. It’s part of how she was made. Musicians, artists, actors—they use her to advance their art, and she uses them to survive. She moves from one artist to the next, never staying long enough to get attached. But all she wants is a different life— a normal one. She’s spent thousands of years living lie after lie, and now she’s ready for something real. Sweet, sexy, and steady, Wilder Bell feels more real than anything else in her long existence. And most importantly… he’s not an artist. He doesn’t want her for her ability. But she can’t turn off the way she influences people, not even to save a man she might love. Because in small doses, she can help make something beautiful, but her ability has just as much capacity to destroy as it does to create. The longer she stays, the more obsessed Wilder will become. It’s happened before, and it never turns out well for the mortal. Her presence may inspire genius. But it breeds madness, too.

Where to even begin. I have been a fan of Cora's since Losing it. This was when New Adult was a new thing. Her writing kept me coming back. Then I met her in Los Angeles and then just recently again about a month ago in San Diego. She is just a great person. She remembered me which made me giddy. I mean hello she's Cora Carmack! When I heard she was writing a NA PNR book I for one was super excited and happy. Getting the chance to be on this tour was like winning the lottery. Most people know I am a HUGE fan of paranormal. That is my go to genre. I love romance as well as NA soooo all three of things combined in one book = heaven!
Kalli is a muse, she can inspire people but she can also destroy them. When I first met her, I was intrigued. In all the years I have been reading books I have never read one about a muse. Greek Mythology, yes I have but a muse never. I give Cora props for this. I love being able to read a PNR book with a protagonist who is something utterly different than anything out there. Kalli is a strong character, while she is with a person she is their inspiration but she has never known what true love is. Enter Wilder Bell. Okay I seriously need to live in Cora's head because she always seems to nail the male protagonist. A business student and one man who will not give up even if this is what Kalli thinks is best. I loved the way this couple's story unfolds. Most of the time I enjoy the build up of the characters, insta-love is hard for me to get into unless done right. I do believe you can love someone from that first touch or look. Writing it and getting it to cross over into your reader is harder. Cora manages to do this. There is angst and drama which makes you root for these two. I don't really want to give anything away because I feel that you need to experience this book for yourself.
Cora has done a seamless job of going from the NA romance genre over to the NA PNR genre. I am so thrilled that she decided to dive into this genre. Even though I was already a fan of hers this is just another reason to love and enjoy her books. If you are a fan of great books then I strongly suggest this book. Now I know most people hate cliffhangers, and I am in the minority because I actually love them. Don't get me wrong I hate the anticipation but I also love it. It makes me happy to know that more books are coming and I can live in this world for a bit longer. I am looking forward to the next book. Thank you Cora for writing a book that had me spellbound from beginning to end.
Cora Carmack is a twenty-something writer who likes to write about twenty-something characters. She's done a multitude of things in her life-- boring jobs (like working retail), Fun jobs (like working in a theatre), stressful jobs (like teaching), and dream jobs (like writing). She enjoys placing her characters in the most awkward situations possible, and then trying to help them get a boyfriend out of it. Awkward people need love, too. Her first book, LOSING IT, was a New York Times and USA Today bestseller.
