Which brings me back to why this post is different. Well Jennifer asked us to tell everyone about a special moment in our lives that we will cherish and remember forever. I thought about so many times that I will remember forever but I wanted to talk about these group of girls who are so amazing and supportive.
I used to tweet a lot when I first started this blog and through that I met Natalee, Natalie, Kathleen, Malory, Mags, and Keelie. We would get together on twitter to pimp authors and each other. We would laugh for hours on end. Natalee from (Read This Hear That) and Kat (Momma Romance) figured out we all lived here in California about an hour to hour and 1/2 apart. We first met at an author signing and immediately clicked. I was scared that we would only get along on social media but these girls man they are just amazing women.
A year later Naughty Mafia does Vegas was put on and all of us decided this was our chance to meet. We got a hotel room and met up and know what?
It was the best week-end ever. To meet, hug and laugh in person with the women who I'd met on twitter was amazing. Here is a picture to solidify one of the night.
When I was going through hard times in my life they have all jumped on Voxer to help me through. There have been many late night calls with crying and laughter. While some of us still blog others have gone on to do other things. My friend Natalie aka N.A. Alcorn now writes books (AMAZING BOOKS). Malory had twin girls a year ago. (Cutest baby girls) Kat had a baby boy about a month ago (OMG HE'S ADORBS and I can't wait to hold him SOON!!) Keelie now is the owner of Next Step PR (she handles some great authors). Mags is still funny. Natalee is still blogging and writing her first book. While I have also written a book (still in edits) through it all we have had each others backs. When one of us is having a bad day we can depend on one another. We stand behind each other, uplifting and encouraging. With out them I don't think I could have taken the risks I have. They mean the world to me and I love them so much. I'm literally crying because these women have no clue how they have impacted my life for the better. When I first started blogging if someone had told me that I would make such amazing friends on twitter no less I would have thought they were drunk. I'm truly blessed to have them as friends and I'm so honored to have them in my life. I can't wait to get together again. Kat and Natalee remember the next 50 Shades movie we are meeting up again because that was a great night. <3
