The Hook-Up Experiment by Emma Hart (New Release, Release Blitz, Excerpt)

1.Hate-screw my high school nemesis.
2.Remember to hate him.
3.Prove my brother wrong.
It should be easy.
It isn’t.

As the owner of Pick-A-Dick, New Orleans’ premier hook-up website, my job is simple. Connect two people for a no-strings, no-expectations hook-up. The plus for my clients is that I’m the one who gets to sift through the dick pics—except this time, they’re required.
My problem? My brother, co-owner of Pick-A-Dick’s sister dating site, doesn’t believe it’s possible to hook up with someone three times and not fall in love.
I disagree. I know it’s possible.
And my disagreement is exactly how I end up reconnected with my high school nemesis, Elliott Sloane. The guy who asked me to junior prom and then stood me up. Who egged my car when I rejected him, and convinced my senior homecoming date to ghost me.
It should be easy to hate-screw him. If only he was still that person, instead of a hot-as-hell single dad, working as a builder to make ends’ meet, fighting for custody of his daughter.
Not to mention packing in the pants department…

Three hook-ups.
One outcome.
Right?

“Is she okay with that juice?” Peyton watched her go.
I selected the Blu-ray from the cupboard and shot a smirk her way. “Sorry to break it to you, but you’re getting a juice box.”
“I can live with that.”
I turned away and hit the eject button on the player. “You didn’t have to say yes to her, you know.”
“Of course, I had to. Have you seen those eyes? How do you say no to her, ever?”
“I think of all the times she screams and swings her arms like a tiny terrorist, and it’s pretty easy.” I put the disk in and turned around.
Peyton had one eyebrow raised. “See, now, I’d think that’s reason to say no.”
“It depends on the day. Sometimes it results in her being put to bed to calm down, which means she ends up taking a rare afternoon nap, and I get some peace and quiet.”
“That’s a thing around her? She was talking to me for thirty minutes flat about what I did and didn’t like.”
“Only thirty minutes? Lucky you. She has about three hours of material of that.” I took a seat on the sofa, making sure to leave space between us for Bri. “Did she get started on hedgehogs yet?”
Peyton looked a little confused. “Hedgehogs?”
“YouTube is the devil.”
“That…was quite the jump in subject.”
I laughed as the main menu music hit on the TV. “I’m going to preface this by saying kids are weird.”
“Some get that from their parents.”
I blinked at her for a second. She wasn’t wrong if half these people who had a mini-career opening fucking toys on YouTube were parents.
“There are a bunch of stupid videos on YouTube, and apparently, watching people open toys is thrilling.”
Now, she looked really confused.
“And on one of those she watched, the person had a pet hedgehog who wasn’t having the nonsense of her opening a Hatchimal on camera, so it stole the egg.”
She blinked several times in quick succession. “I have no idea what you just said, and if I’m honest… Please don’t explain it.”
I laughed and hit play on the TV.
“Here’s your dooce-box,” Briony said, handing Peyton two. “And das mine. I can’t do the straws.”
“Oh. Right. Okay.” Peyton looked at the two juices that had been thrust at her.
Smiling, I took one from her. I pulled the straw off the back, out of the tiny plastic slip, and poked it through the foiled hole in the top. “There you go,” I said to Briony. “What do you want for dinner?”
She put the straw in her mouth and pursed her lips as she sucked the juice up. Peyton watched her, lips twitching, as she put her straw in place.
“Pizza!” Briony announced.
Oh no. I’d eaten too much pizza lately.
Was there such a thing as too much pizza?
Maybe if the toppings were changed up…
“Peydon, do you want pizza?” Bri asked, leaning right into her.
“I like pizza,” she replied, smiling sweetly down at her. “What’s your favorite?”
“I like spots and cheese.”
“Spots?”
I coughed on my water. “Pepperoni,” I explained. “They look like spots on the pizza.”
Peyton’s eyes met mine for a minute. Silent laughter shone back at me. That really was toddler logic at its finest.
“You know,” she said, looking down at Peyton. “Spots are my favorite, too!”
Once again, Briony gasped. “Reawy?”
“Really, really. I love spots.”
Oh, Jesus.
It might have been a mistake introducing these two. Not only was my daughter becoming increasingly obsessed with someone who seemed to be a brunette, adult version of her…
No, that was the problem. Peyton was the brunette, adult version of Briony, attitude and all—and if there was anything my daughter didn’t need, it was someone who could teach her a thing or ten about sarcasm.
“I’ll order pizza,” I said, going to stand.
“Oh, you got it last time. I’ll go call them.” Peyton put her juice on the side table and tried to move, but Briony stopped her.
“No. Mimi told me that only gentlemen buy dinner. Princesses sit and look priddy.”
Peyton looked down at her. “Sit and look pretty? I like to buy my own pizza sometimes, and that’s okay.”
Without missing a beat, Briony said, “Princesses sit and look priddy so the mens buying dinner don’t know dat we can kick dere butts.”
Ahhh to find a good book is like gold. There are times that I really just want a book that is funny and has a kick-ass heroine, I have found all of that and more in Emma Chase's book.

Peyton is funny, sarcastic and knows what she wants. When her brother bets she can't sleep with someone 3x's without catching feelings, she is up for the challenge. What I loved is that she is not this shy chick who had sex a bazillion years ago and is like I am holding out now....nope, she loves sex and isn't afraid to say so. MY KIND OF WOMAN!!! I love when women embrace their sexuality it makes the book for me more realistic.

Elliott, Eliott, Elliott...man oh man. In HS Peyton had a crush on Elliott but he stood her up at junior prom so she's never quite forgiven him for that. I liked Elliott, he was funny and the banter between him and Peyton was the best. For me when an author writes in children I ALWAYS love it because they are usually not filtered and kids say and do the darndest things. That is no exception for Elliott's three-year-old Brioney. She had me smiling.

This book was everything I didn't know I needed at the moment. Enemies to lovers, cute kid, and laughter. I really enjoyed myself and if you are in the mood for something light and uplifting then I think this is the book for you.

Shannon’s Review
This book begins with a big oh sh*t moment. I mean the first page is a big moment in Stanton’s and Jenny’s life. It was like a big WOW moment. As I got over the shock of that I begin reading more and started to really not like Stanton. It was kind of hard not to like him but then again he was pissing me off.
Let’s take a look back on Stanton’s life. He was raised in Mississippi, which I thoroughly appreciated considering I am a southern girl myself, and he had great ambitions for his life. He wanted to be a lawyer and be successful. He had a hiccup, a big hiccup, but he still made it through to his dream.
Jenny on the other hand was stuck in at home raising their child. She did however fulfil her dream it just took longer than it should. Jenny is a great mom and a great woman. She has her head on straight but has a man who is only there when he can be.
Now these two have arrangements with their messed up relationship. That was the part when I got pissed. Seriously I wanted to jump in front of Stanton with a hand on my hip and pointing him in the chest with my other hand letting him have it.
As I read more and got very emotional attached to these two I started seeing a side of both of them that made me believe they were doing what they were supposed to. Although I didn’t like it. This book really shows growing up on both of their parts. I fell in love with the both of them. This is a great coming of age book that I couldn’t put down.

I recommend this book for the writing, the relationships, the laughter, and the greatness of the book in itself. I am giving this book 5 hearts.

Tied by Emma Chase promotional tour, review by Dee

My rating: 5 of 5 hearts

Synopsis:

In the fourth sexy romance by the New York Times bestselling author of Tangled and Twisted, Drew and Kate can’t wait to tie the knot—if they can survive the pre-wedding festivities.

For most of my life, I never imagined I’d get married. But Kate did the impossible: she changed me. I think we can all agree I was pretty frigging awesome before, but now I’m even better.

The road to this day wasn’t all rainbows and boners. There were mistakes and misunderstandings worthy of a Greek tragedy. But Kate and I made it through with our inexhaustible lust, boundless admiration, and everlasting love for one another intact.

That being said, there were some unexpected incidents in Vegas last weekend that could have been a problem. It was kind of... my final test.

I know what you’re thinking—what the hell did you do this time? Relax. Let’s not judge, or call for my castration, until you've heard the whole story.

And hold on tight, because you’re in for a wild ride. Did you expect anything less?

Indecent Proposal *TIED pre-order bonus excerpt*

"I hover over her, just close enough to caress her with my breath. “Fuck, Kate, the things I want to do to you…”

Her round, dark eyes drift over my face — filled with love and need. Docile and demanding at the same time.

“I’m yours, Drew.” She whispers. “You can do anything…everything.”

Does she understand what she’s offering? How badly I want to hear her voice, soaked with pleasure, screaming my name until it echoes off the hills around us?

Anything?

Oh, the possibilities."

Holy crap Emma. I don't know what it is about Emma writes Drews point of view that is so hilarious. Whatever it is she has epically nailed it with this book. There were so many times that I found myself literally laughing out loud, and crying from laughing so hard. This book is no disappointment when it comes to Emma's writing style. We get the flawless, easy-going, seamless, addictive writing style full of hold you belly laugh out loud humor, unbelievably sweet and incredibly sexy all-in-one. Whether it was past flashbacks or present happening everything about this book was hilarious and sweet. So I will have to admit I too, just like Drew, got irritated with DEeDees antics. From the baby stories to Vegas to Drew taking Billy under his wing and Lexi's mental meltdown, every single thing about this book was incredibly well written. I was hanging on every word.
I wish I could sit here and tell you five stars was enough I'm reading this book but believe me it's not. It deserves so much more than just five. Emma has nailed everything about this book it's epically awesome. There's not one thing I would change about it. And for that reason I think it deserves far more than just five stars. Even though this is the conclusion to book series, I think this may be the best one yet. It's by far my favorite.

I give this book 5 hearts, but it deserves so so much more.

Tamed by Emma Chase blog tour

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: girl meets player, they fall in love, player changes his ways.

It’s a good story. But it’s not our story. Ours is a lot more colorful.

When I met Dee I knew right away that she was special. When she met me, she thought I was anything but special—I was exactly like every other guy who’d screwed her over and let her down. It took some time to convince her otherwise, but turns out I can make a convincing argument when sex is at stake.

You might know where this story’s headed. But the best part isn't where we ended up.

It’s how we got there.

TAMED goes back in time to the Tangled days. But this time around, it’s not Drew dishing out the advice and opinions—it’s his best friend Matthew, who of course is dealing with Dee Dee.

You know how you get so excited for a sequel or a book in a series, only to be let down because it's not up to par with the other books in the series? I know, we've all been there. It's like your heart gets crushed a little. Well, let me tell you... Have no worries here with that, Emma delivers an amazing book in the tangled series. She doesn't short us on one iota of humor or sexiness. I think Matthew gives Drew an honest run for his money. Emma delivers yet another strong, humorous, sexy man who gets surprised by love. She also gives us another strong, independent woman in this book just like before with Kate. Dee is one handful that's for sure. Certain she doesn't want love due to her history. Then in walks Matthew and the game changes, for both of them. We also get to see the other side to the Kate/Drew/Billy saga and how it impacted their friends. This is another book delivered by Emma that will suck you in from te beginning and spit you out at the end with a goofy smile on your face. You may want to strangle Dee at some point, I know I did, but loved every single second of the story.

I give this story 4.5 stars

Dee wets her lips with her tongue and slides my jeans down over my hips, freeing my already aching dick. She wraps her small hand around the base, pumping slowly. “Until you take those photographs of  me, and develop them here, I want you to think about this, the next time you’re in this room.”

Still stroking the base, she covers the tip with her lips, sucking gently and flicking it with her tongue. I lean more weight against the door—my knees going weak. She removes her mouth, peels the foreskin back, and takes me fully in. And I can’t help but moan. “Fuuuck.”

Her mouth is hot, and wet and so tight, bright dots appear in the darkness of my closed lids. Slowly she increases the suction of her mouth, the speed of her rubbing palm—my hand buries in her hair and tightens.

Dee hums around me, and I beg, “Faster . . .”
