I love me some Abbi! She always gives me stories that keep me swooning. When I read When I'm Gone I wasn't sure how I'd feel since I don't really care for cowboys but Mase changed that for me OH man and then there was sweet Reese. I loved their story. Completely.
I was excited for this book because Hello more Mase, but quickly the luster wasn't there for me. Don't get me wrong the writing was great. It's just that the more I read the more I felt that the drama was excessive and unnecessary. Aida was too much for me. Seriously way too much I was like ummm Nan has this spot covered thanks.
I would get upset with Reese and Mase at times, well mostly Reese because I didn't understand how she could ever doubt Mase's love for her. He'd proven again and again how much she meant to him.
The growth she went through though I loved. Sure there were times she was insecure but I get that I mean she moved yet again and was friendless. I'm glad that she was able to overcome. That ending tho!! What the hecks?
Oh Captain my Captain! He totes stole the show and I cannot wait to read his book!
Overall Abbi has delivered a good book that was enjoyable. The twist was everything.
I didn't hate this book but I wasn't feeling it like the book prior. It was enjoyable and fun.
