Lexi and Lucca make a reappearance being back home from
Tuscany. Lexi is still self-doubting herself. She has her past revisiting her
along with Lucca’s past rearing its ugly head being thrown in her face.
Lucca is still strong and reassuring to Lexi. He is still a
hot Italian with the patience of a saint. You can feel how he loves her
throughout the book.
Cameron is a player. If you remember correctly from the
first book this is Lexi’s brother. He has a relationship with Lucca’s sister
Anna. Although it’s physical to begin with.
Now in saying all of this I will say that this book was a
slow read for me from the beginning. Don’t get me wrong I love the story but
Lexi was too needy for me. I thought maybe in this book she would have done a
little more growing up.
I am giving this book 3.5 hearts.
