If You Fight is a continuation of Serena and Ryder's story. If you have not read it or my review I ask you to do that first before continuing on.

Alrighty roo, I am not about spoilers so I can't go too much into detail about this book but I was so excited that I got to continue on with this one because after that last cliffhanger I NEEDED to see what was going to happen. I have to say that the way K.M. wrote these characters you can see the emotion pouring through the pages. When an author can make me feel emotions that the characters are going through then I know I will enjoy the book. 

Ryder and Serena are fighters, I could see how much they loved one another. Faced with obstacles they never gave up. The characters have grown and changed from the first book but not in a way that is bad, it is more of a determination. Oh, and can I just tell you the Dad....man I thought I disliked him before... that man had me like

I am really enjoying this series and can't wait to see where Ryder and Serena's journey ends. The twist and turns coupled with my anxiety over the entire thing makes me want to keep reading. LOL

Have you ever read a book that made you sit back and think WHOA? This book did just that for me. The author's writing was exceptional, the way she puts words together and brings out emotions had me reading well into the early morning. 

Ryder is a guy who has not had an easy life. Since he was a teen he has been fighting to survive. Literally, fighting! He ends up meeting a man that changes his life and OMFG this is where we meet Serena. Now typically I hate the rich girl aspects in stories but this time I didn't mind it because she is not your stereotypical rich girl. She wants a life of her own but her father won't allow her to flourish. 

Now obviously if a man brings you into his home and says there is only one rule and that is to stay away from his daughters....well you know damn well that is not going to happen. This is where a story for me can be made or have me rolling my eyes. The author took me on a journey, had me fall in love with the characters and who they were as people. I felt emotions deeply and began rooting for them as a couple, of course, with the twists and turns and a few times I wanted to chuck my kindle wellllll, you have to see for yourself how it all plays out...or doesn't (LOL) 

This is my first time reading anything by this author and it will not be my last. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!
