I love to read. I love many genres, just like music but like music there is one that I can't always get on board with and I know what a lot of people will say..."WHAT! But it's so good." Yes, this may be true but idk I have never really been a fan. Of what you ask? Country music, cowboys and country singers in books. Put the pitchfork down, I am just telling you my truth. Now look I have tried many times over but for whatever reason they just seem to be meh for me until Beau!

Beau McCrea is a bad boy, he is also a country boy who's family lives on a ranch so I guess he'd be a cowboy? IDK but anyways he's also a HUGE Country singer. Now usually I am like I'll pass but for whatever reason i just wanted to read this book. I have never read anything by Mandi Beck but I was like I'll read this and mind you I didn't read the synopsis...LOL I know you are all like WTF do you mean you didn't read the synopsis? I didn't! All I saw was the cover and I was like okay I want this and I want to try her books so here I am.

FUCKING HELL AM I EVER GLAD I DID!!

Now I have seen the cover for Stoned and I was like YOOOOO I need this. I get I am reading them out of order but you know what IDC! I loved this book. I loved Addy and Beau. And I have no clue if this book is part of one series or another but all I know is that the characters were legit. The story is legit. The authors words and storytelling LEGIT!

Addy is feisty and won't let anyone put her in a corner. Beau is all kinds of fucked up but put them together and BAM! Things happen. Now if you have been here long enough you know damn well I love the sexual tension and build up...This book DID NOT DISAPPOINT.

I will never be able to say I don't enjoy certain genres because authors like this come along and slap the stupid out of me. Beck made these characters loving and enjoyable. And yes, while I was reading I was doing it in a southern drawl...sue me.
