Bring Me Home Release Day Blitz

Bring Me Home

By Cassia Leo

Synopsis
The breath-taking conclusion to the New York Times and USA Today bestselling series is expected to be released August 6, 2013.

Claire Nixon is a college student with a past full of secrets and heartbreak. She was saved once by her first love, and rock star, Chris Knight. But when she encouraged Chris to leave town to pursue his dreams, both Claire and Chris didn’t realize it would be the biggest mistake of their lives.

After a devastating year apart and thousands of miles of distance between them, Claire met sexy surfer Adam Parker. With his awful jokes and profound patience, he helped Claire pick up the shattered pieces of her broken heart for the second time.

But now Chris has returned and he is willing and determined to make Claire’s dreams come true—the same way she did for him when she let him go.

With Adam’s former girlfriend in the picture, Claire finds herself torn between the new, passionate love she shares with Adam and the love and family she shares with Chris

Bio
USA Today bestselling author Cassia Leo loves her coffee, chocolate, and margaritas with salt. When she's not writing, she spends way too much time watching old reruns of Friends and Sex and the City. When she's not watching reruns, she's usually enjoying the California sunshine or reading--sometimes both.

Dee’s Review
I started this book team Adam. Don't ask me why. It just is what it is. But as this story unfolds, I can't help but maybe switch ships.  It's almost like Cassia is taking her sweet time to point out and spell out to us that Chris and Claire belong together. Making sure that we are okay with the change she KNOWS we are going to be making. That they have a love and a tie that is unbreakable. That time apart doesn't mean they don't belong together, it just means that time solidified their love- made it stronger. And she doesn't just come out and say that, but she makes me feel it. And I will tell you I felt a lot when reading this. I mean literally I cried more than a couple times. I would cry once at something that happened, just like a single tear

SAN, SHAN.. Someone HOOOOLD ME!!!!!

Thanks girls.. so I read more...then all the sudden...

WHAM! Full on tears. My heart broke for the trials Chris and Claire endure. I almost felt like they could never catch a break, but yet they fight everything together. She's never alone, not anymore. I laugh at the banter between Chris and Claire. They're love, and giddiness and playfulness- makes me smile. Gives me the warm tinglies inside.

But I feel sad for Adam and roll my eyes and Lauren- alot. I don't know why but she gets under my skin.  God I was so mad at her for what she did to him. What she put him through. But he's so mature about it and forgiving..  It seems like Claire isn't the only one who grew up. And looking back at that book, it's what I feel happened. Adam and Claire grew up, they opens their eyes. An their hearts. Does that make sense? I feel like I'm not making sense right now. Like this didn't make sense- but yet it made complete sense.

When Claire met Phil- I got so mad. Douchebag alert, Douchebag alert!!

But again, she has her rock next to her. So strong for her. Everything about this journey was great, it was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking back at where Claire started to now- she's really evolved, accepted and moved on with what she had to endure. She hated herself so much and didn't think she deserved happiness, and look at her now. OH GOD! and this has the best epilogues EVER!!! I give the book 4.5 hearts. It was a beautiful conclusion to the trilogy. Everything was wrapped up nicely and full of love on all accounts.
***Teaser time***
Turning around, I find Rachel standing on the other side of the breakfast bar. Her dark hair is pulled up into a messy ponytail, but she still manages to look perfectly pulled together. She never blinks as we stare at each other for a moment.
“Chris said you weren’t going to my birthday party next week,” she says, and her glare softens a little.
Rachel can be abrasive and she sometimes takes the phrase “honesty is the best policy” to the extreme, but she’s also intensely emotional and sensitive. She used to play piano with Chris’s band occasionally, but she just writes music now. She plays beautifully and actually taught me a couple of songs when Chris and I were still together.
“I’m not sure it’s a good idea for me to hang out with you guys right now.”
I don’t tell her that my therapist actually encouraged me to go to the party when I told him Chris had invited me. I don’t want to be one of those people who constantly says stuff like, “My shrink doesn’t think it’s a good idea.” The problem is, I catch myself thinking these kinds of things all day long. My therapist is adamant that I shouldn’t shut out the people I love in my attempt to get my head straight, but I’m terrified that everyone is secretly judging me for what I did to Chris.
